Health and Safety
Health and safety is at the heart of our business. The Duffy Group is a member of the British Safety Council, The Construction Health & Safety Group and ROSPA, and is continually investing in new safety systems. As well as having our own dedicated Health and Safety Department, we are committed to ensuring all our workforce is trained and competent for the roles that they are employed to undertake.
This training is carried out by professional training organisations at our own in-house training centre. All our training is carried out in conjunction with guidelines issued by both the CITB and the Main Contractors Group (MCG).
Close attention is paid to all aspects of safety during all phases of every construction job we undertake, whatever its size and complexity.
We ensure compliance with current legislation, and are able to meet the very high and specific safety requirements of clients such as London Underground, British Airports Authority and Ministry of Defence.
As a result of our rigidly enforced workplace safety policy, we have an exemplary health and safety record with both Accident Frequency Rates (AFR) and Accident Incident Rates (AIR) significantly lower than the industry average.

INFORMATION
The figures shown above show both the Accident Frequency Rate and Accident/Incident rate for the Duffy Group as a whole, the key performance indicators(KPI's) set by the Main Board of directors demonstrate the continued commitment towards the reduction of accidents, this is more clearly demonstrated by comparing the KPI's set by Duffy Group against those set by both the HSC and the MCG.
